Account information: When you register, we collect your name and email address to create and manage your account. You may also choose to provide additional profile information such as your location, racing preferences, and role (fan, driver, sponsor, vendor).

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform — including searches performed, events saved or flagged, schedules created, track reviews submitted, pages visited, and features used. This data helps us improve recommendations and the overall user experience.

User-generated content: Any content you submit — including track reviews, driver profiles, race results, schedule events, or photos — is stored on our servers and may be publicly displayed to other users.

Contact submissions: If you contact us via our contact form or email, we store your name, email address, and message content to respond to your inquiry.

Promoter and advertiser information: If you submit a promoter profile or advertising inquiry, we collect your name, track or business name, contact information, and any details you provide.

Device and technical data: We may collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and IP address for security and performance purposes. We do not build behavioral advertising profiles from this data.

We use your information to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the DirtDates platform
• Personalize your event discovery experience based on your preferences, saved items, and location
• Send optional weekly digest emails with personalized race recommendations (you may opt out at any time)
• Respond to your support requests and inquiries
• Moderate user-submitted content and enforce our community standards
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

DirtDates uses artificial intelligence to power event discovery, schedule generation, editorial content, and personalized recommendations. When you interact with these features, your inputs (such as search queries) may be processed by AI systems to generate results.

AI-generated content on DirtDates is for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate. We do not use your personal data to train AI models without explicit consent.

DirtDates uses cookies and similar browser technologies to maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and improve platform performance. These are functional cookies necessary for the platform to operate — not advertising cookies.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioral tracking for ad purposes.

We use trusted third-party service providers to help operate the platform. These may include:

• Hosting and infrastructure — to store and serve platform data
• Email delivery — to send digest emails and transactional messages
• AI services — to generate content, recommendations, and editorial summaries

User-generated content (such as reviews or race results) that has been made public may remain visible after account deletion if it has been incorporated into aggregate features. You may request removal by contacting us directly.

DirtDates is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
